Securitas, a world leader in the provision of security services decided to use SGS, also a world leader in the provision of certification services, to audit and certify its Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000. In light of the highly professional and rigorous manner in which SGS carried out this certification and on-going audit of our QMS, we decided to adopt the IS999:1999 standard for Manned Guarding Services by SGS as well. This was then carried forward to the IS999:2004 standard. Robert Conlon, their Management Systems Auditor, has been of great assistance to us over last number of years by ensuring that we not only operate to the criteria of the standard but he has also made positive recommendations for improvement in our operating and management systems.
